Valve adjustments F3060 L3600

Curious who has done that. My owner's manual for my L3600 says to adjust every 800 hours [have not done at 1000 hours]. Wonder if needed? That engine runs cool.
My F3060 owner's manual does not mention valve adjustment- I have 2700 hours and have no idea if it was done before I bought it at around 2400 hours.
Both run just fine but can't hear lose valve clatter on a running diesel. And tight valves will only show up when you have a serious problem.

Tight valves are common on some engines. If the seat or valve wear even a small amount, the clearance tightens up. I would not wait until it runs poorly to check them.
