time for a new tractor

My Ford 4000 has a Ford 515 sickle bar mower and today, while mowing, it fell apart; the mower, not the tractor. Anyhow, my small tractor is a Massey Ferguson 1235 that has been nothing but great. I will probzbly be trading it in with the Ford 4000 and buyint a larger compact tractor. I want ot get a disc mower and a front loader, so I guess I'll need something in the M-F 1600 series or comparable. I'm open to suggestions, so any help will be greatly appreciated.

:welcome: to TBN! There are a LOT of knowledgeable people in the buying/pricing/comparison forum. Soulds like something from the 3x20-5xx0 series Deere tractors.

Hi ! You wrote that you will look in the MF 1600 serie. I have a 1643 and just love that tractor. The 1600 serie goes from 35 to 60 HP, you will have the choice. Look at your **power needs** and go for it, those tractors are well equiped and run smooth, go try one but also go see other brand. If you go and check in the Massey tread, you will find happy owners . I,m one of them. Good luck. If you have any question about the 1643 just ask. Roger

Which dealers are located conveniently in your area?
Are you interested in buying new, used or either?
How big a disc mower? How big FEL?
