thumbnails acting weird when you click on them

normally when I see a thumbnail in a message I click on it and it opens.. now when I do so, a dialog box pops up and asks me if I want to open it or save it?

this just happened.

this new.. or something not working right?

Sounds like that you are useing MicroSoft and it might have done an auto upgrade! Mine does that "dialog box pops up" but it has done it for several years now, I don't think that it has anything to do with the TBN thing of Last week-end!

More details such as operating system and browser. My Win7 Ultimate (any old Win 7 would act the same) and IE9 works fine. Does it do the same in Firefox or Chrome?

Here is a thread that might help you. It may be that file associations are goofed up. I do not know what the magic click might be for you though.
