Ok, so without getting into "every" detail of why....
I have a curtis plow I attach to the frt loader arms...which I obviously have to remove the "bucket"
It could be a clean 5 minute job, but because I have to take the hoses off of the the center cylinder and hook them to the curtis plow using quick disconnect fittings.
Every year I unscrew the "thread/Flare adapters" out of my cylinder, (cleaning up the MESSY hydraulic fluid from my hands and floor) and then thread them into the quick disconnects. I then reconnect the flare side of the hose to the "adapter" which is on the quick disonnect of which I can then plug them onto the plow...
So I want to buy another set of these "adapters" Is the pipe thread end of these fittings, standard threads? Furthermore, is the other end a special flare" or can I just go get something at the local ACE hardware?
It's time to simplify... something I wanted to do 2 years ago, and never took the time.
Thanks all..
Phil
