- JD 855, 322, AMT626 plus whatever my son dragged home this month
You know - I've never been really stuck with the 855.
But I recall sinking a skid steer until all 4 tires were spinning and the belly was flat on the ground. Was passing along the side of a known wet spot, and noticed the 'wet" wheels starting to slip a bit. So jerked back on both controls to reverse before I got in too deep. Oops - the uphill wheels had traction, the wet wheels didn't, and next thing I knew I spun 90 degrees and backed straight into the hole. /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif Funny thing - my 2wd Mazda pickup couldn't budge it.
Also sank a 4wd backhoe in my front lawn to the point where I stepped up off the step onto the ground. Thank god for hydraulics and rail-road ties.
I like to think I'm smarter now - but I keep a few spare ties out back for when I prove I'm not.
