Perhaps AOL has something messed up in there name server that is trying to match TBN to that other company's address. I would ask AOL.;)

That happened to me yesterday afternoon and I don't have AOL. I tried killing the cookies but it didn't do any good. Finally I just rebooted and when I came back later it was fine. I've had something simular happen on other websites and I've always blamed IE.

It also fails under AOL DESKTOP General release and beta versions...

Asked AOL...they think its on this end...

How do the mapping requests get recycled?

Do you get 208.100.11.68 when you ping www.tractorbynet.com?

Not that I'd question the technical support at AOL , but common sense would indicate the problem isn't at TBN's end or everyone would see what AOL users see.

ditto, same thing happened to me yesterday afternoon, it was better in a hr or 2. it was a horrible thing, I actually had to go out and do something instead of hanging out here on TBN.

Yesterday afternoon we had a main server problem; it had to be manually rebooted. The errors you saw were related to that, not AOL per se. I think all is fine now.

Paul - When did all this happen? It wasn't clear from your post. I assumed it started happening today since you started the thread today.

We had a downtime yesterday that caused that. It lasted about an hour.

Yep, I got it too with RoadRunner, so it wasn't AOL. Oh wait, they are owned by the same people......:D
But it was just downtime. Happens occasionally.
