I use one of these 'magnetic saucers' on the back end of the fender or on top of the tractor's PTO shield for those snap pins and upper link pins while hooking up. It prevents them from vibrating off an idling tractor and into the tall grass.

Scruffy - Ouch! I hadn't thought of that! Well, let's see: There is an equal amount of fender space on the left side, too... Maybe just the cup without the lid and fill it with M&M's, Skittles, or something like that for quick energy.
