Look at the small tree in the foreground. Most of its branches appear to go in front of the lower ladder but some of them appear to be behind the ladder. My guess is it's a doctored photo - a good job though.

Speaking strictly from a safety standpoint, he should have stood on the power line and cut the tree from there. However, if he does fall from where he is in the picture, the fall will be broken on the way down as he strikes the power line, loader bucket, and the top of the chain link fence. I think he'll be okay.

I think it may have been photo shopped. Look at the loader on the left. The arms look like a Bobcat SS. Where is the cab? The ladder on the right has two different length sections. I guess you could have a ladder like that, but it just doesn't look right to me.

Yeah, the shadows are curved but the surface of the shed should be flat, producing a straight shadow.

There is also a nice squishy helper and puffy branch pile for him to land on at the bottom.
