Third set of hydraulics??

Mine has 3 levers. I guess if you had hydraulic rippers on a blade you could use the 3rd set. Mine doesn’t. I can’t think of anything else that would need 3 sets.

All hydraulic rear blade with gauge wheels, there's 4 sets and if you have top & tilt, there's 2 more for a total of 6 sets.

Rear blade with gage wheels like you mention are expensive, wish I had one though,

Also posted this in the hydraulics forum because was not sure if it belonged under attachments or hydraulics...

We run a JD5095M. General mowing, road maintenance, firewood hauling, snow plowing, moving stuff around.
Whatever needs done to maintain the place.
Have a number of attachments, and all of them only use one or two sets of rear hydraulics.
Looking at a grading blade with tilt, angle and offset functions. Trying to figure out if it would be worthwhile
to add a third hydraulic hook up on the rear, use a diverter or just keep one function manual.

Question... how many rear, tractor attachments require three sets of hydraulic lines? Can't think of any and
would likely only add the third set if there were also another use for it.

I have two rear remotes. They are used for top and tilt. Every time I put on my dump trailer or sickle bar mower with hydraulic lift cylinder I wish I had a third and I will soon.

My tractor has three rear remotes. One is used for the hydraulic top link, the other two are used for the ditch/bank flail mower extend and tilt functions.
