Thinking of getting chains?

As far as front chains, my dealer does not sell them for my L45 and tells me not to use any or it will damage the front end.

I'm spinning/ digging in muddy soil while clearing wooded areas on my property and also when running up hill on an old logging road that gets wet and is overgrown w/ grass.

Thanks again for all the good input.

Your dealer is covering his butt...however, I'm sure he's seen some tractors damaged by persons not using common sense when they operate. If he did recommend chains, and you did have front end problems (for any reason), he could be liable for warranty work not covered by Kubota.

Your fellow Kubota owners on TBN can likely give you better input then your dealer as far as the potential for front end damage.
