- Kubota L5740, Unimog 404 w/ snowblower, Deere 620i UTV, MX5100 (sold)
I'm playing around in my mind about selling my MX5100HST and looking for a low hour cabbed 5740. One issue is that I have the BH92 hoe and apparently only the -3 version of the cabbed L-series can accept the subframe and mount for the BH92. Is there a year or S/N that would signal the change to -3?
Are there any known issues with the 5740 I should watch out for? My MX5100 is essentially perfect and only 300 hours so it makes me slightly nervous to take on a machine whose history is unknown to me, but I keep thinking about the heated cab. If I can find a nice machine, I would still need to add the subframe, BH mount, and probably a remote or 2. I have 3 remotes on the MX and can't imagine living with less than that, or 2 rears and a 3rd function on the loader.
Thanks,
Dave
