Hod do you change the thermostat on John Deere 5205

It is a fiddly job because the thermostat housing is mounted on the motor vertically. It has been a couple of years since I had the housing off to clean the cooling system but I think I used some gasket glue on the gasket to hold the thermostat in place while reattaching the housing.

I have attached the pages from the 5210 tech manual on this. Since they both have the same engine. Hopefully these will work for you. I have done this on my tractor. The bypass tube just pulls out.
