The WICKED Root & Debris GRAPPLE!!!!!!!

Finally got some REAL action in today: the picture Travis posted earlier today was a communication between he and I, so it doesn't count as MY first:D

Sometimes you have to just go with what you have (I had difficulty getting a good bite on this, then, as you can see, it managed to chomp down- I moved it this way about 50' or so; ground is really soft and at times I was pushing the fronts into the ground- this thing weighs a lot more than one would think- I'd plucked it out with an 18 ton excavator last summer):

Good job on trimming and resizing the picture, Travis.

I don't understand why smart phones are not rotated 90 degrees, to the Landscape position, when taking pictures for TBN.

Here's a new photo of my new EA grapple in action:

Oh, wait a minute...it was a dream...it hasn't arrived, yet! :)

Thanks! Well, I did learn TBN photo posting from the best!

I'm still trying to figure out HOW the grapple is holding onto the crazy load. Seriously?

You are welcome.

Looks like he reached down and grabbed her by the roots! :D

Just scoop the stump and get at least one tine of the jaw engaged. No reason to do more as gravity is your friend. Sometimes you can just spear the rootball and not need the jaw to clamp at all.

Take a closer look at the picture, he didn't scoop this one.

Most of the stump is under the bottom tines of the grapple.
