The WICKED Root & Debris GRAPPLE!!!!!!!

I picked the grapple and sub soiler up this afternoon at the FedEx terminal but wasn't able to get it to the property where the tractor is today. So my new toy, I mean implement, is sitting in my garage while I'm out of town the next 5 days :( Action pics will be coming though! :D

I think he's stringing us along and hoping we forget. I mean his excuse might explain lack of action shots but surely there is enough light in the garage for a newborn grapple photo.

This is my grapple's baby picture and team jersey:

Man, this paints a nice picture! As I say on our Facebook page all the time.... #EAcustomersRock

Tim from Illinois just received a 72" Dual Lid Wicked Grapple for his Kubota L6060.

Rest Easy
"I am probably like others that are concerned with build quality of any purchase. Rest easy if you are considering this grapple. Seriously, place the order and go to bed and sleep well. In my case this grapple exceeded expectations in all categories. From the shipping to packaging to un-crating and ultimately attaching to machine. I immediately went to try it out and was blown away with functionality and capability. Lids raise and lower quickly, good grip and excellent holding capability and yes, it's built like a tank. I considered another brand that was slightly cheaper and 30 pounds lighter. Best weight gain I've ever had and worth the extra few bucks. Hit the place order button and sleep well."

IMG_2509.JPGFinally got a chance to play with my new toy. I installed some spiral hose protection.
Cleaned up a patch of dirt that was starting to show signs of growth, three years after it was cleared.
Wicked Grapple did all as advertised. I'm most pleased to see the "worn off paint" on tines. IMG_2542.JPG

Maybe a little off balanced, but nothing like good ole Eric's effort here with his famous NX6010!

I have not used a single lid, but one thing I like about the double lid is that it allows me to come at things at weird angles (or one reason or another) and grab stuff.

I've never had trouble clamping anything odd shaped into my single lid. I may clamp at a different location or direction than you might with a double but the single lid is just as flexible. Have you ever needed two thumbs to pick something up with your hand?

Looking at your branched tree trunk, I'd probably have tried to pick it up with my lid closer to the crotch. That would leave part of the unclamped limb resting on the bottom tines and prevent it from rolling. Done this many times. If it were shorter or had a rootball, I sometimes just grab it by the rootball with the tree pointing forwards.

This shot is fit for a poster!! I blew it up a little to show off the beautiful mountains in the background.

I just saw this string of dual lid grapples ready to ship after the springs are installed.
Currently about 50 waiting on their Wicked Grapple right now!

Just for the sake of curiosity, why does the one grapple have black cylinders and the rest are all red? The red ones look beefier, but perhaps it's just the contrast of the color in the pictures that make them appear thicker.
