I talked to Travis but he wasn't sure exactly what I could measure ahead of time.

I based my estimate on John's l4060 and single lid grapple. Added 10 inches to take account of slightly longer FEL, a touch more rotation, and how my bigger grapple has a spring that takes up extra hose while the single lid grapples don't.

The most accurate formula so far is to get a measurement from the center of the torque tube over to the loader arm, and then add the distance from that point up to where the 3rd function outlets are.
If it isn't totally clear, we usually add 4-6" so you'll have some extra.

In the beginning, we sent out some with hoses that were too short, but that hasn't happened lately.
The precise fit is a lot more complicated than throwing 72" hoses on there and calling it a day, but we believe the extra effort is worth it to ensure everything fits neat and perfect.

I can tell you how long they need to be for a center placement of your quick couplers on the torque tube of a a Kioti KL351 loader on a Kioti DK35se. They need to be 60 inches. I use a bungee cord going over at an angle to one of the loader arm connectors and the other end of the bungee tie wrapped into the 60 inch hose at the precise spot it needs to be to not interfere with full extension but enough to retract and not get smashed. It all works good.

I am looking to purchase a used M9000 Kubota. Is there anything specific I need to ask the seller to ensure I can use this attachment? I think this is a must have for what I am doing with the tractor (land clearing). Also are there advertised prices or do I need to call someone?

Just give us a call to discuss the details. For that tractor, you'll need a heavier grapple such as the Construction Attachments 1RG or the WR Long OBG1. Our Wicked Grapples are designed for compact tractors up to around 50hp. We have sold some for use on larger tractors and haven't had any issues, but I wouldn't recommend it for a 90hp.

I still think you manufacturers underrate grapples. I understand the concern about warranty work etc but I'd guess your smallest grapple has more structural steel in it than the standard bucket for a Kubota M9000. If the grapple is to be used to move brush and logs and used properly for digging, I just don't see why it is necessary to jump up to a $3000 grapple. The brush weighs the same regardless of the tractor HP. For private use I just don't see the need for these big heavy grapples. If some teenager on a construction project with little experience was abusing a grapple I can see why heavier is better but I just cannot imagine how one would go about breaking a grapple doing something that wouldn't also break a standard bucket.

Ask the seller if it has the optional skid steer quick attach and a third function system to operate a grapple.

If you called EA and talked to Travis, he would have already explained everything to you.

I would assume an M series has at least one set of rear remotes which can be used to control a grapple.

I agree with island Tractor. Haven't you seen what he's done with his 48" Wildcat?! (Just type "grapple" in the search to be amazed, there's pictures. He's repeatedly warned us about you slippery salesmen, over selling on width and weight.

There's a rumor circulating right on this forum that Travis is paid commission by the POUND! But we ain't falling for it. We are sticking by our resident narrow grapple guru. You guys at EA act like you actually make and use what you sell. I'm not believing it until I see videos. Hire some guy named Peanut to drive the tractor and I want the freakin Owner starring in the videos. Until then, we as a group are sticking with Island Tractor.
