I think the solution is to have a facility where the government gives unlimited free drugs for these crack and meth heads as well as offer free medical and mental health services for anyone who wants to turn their lives around. If they OD then that's a shame we tried to help.

Get them off the street. Reduces crime due to meth/crack heads stealing to feed their addictions. Reduces prostitution and other drug related crime.

It's cheaper to give them free food and lodging and unlimited free drugs than to pay for police and legal system and jails. Keep them off the streets.
Its kind of the Swiss model...

Now today, it seems the truck has re-set on it's own. My reverse camera is back on, and Sirius XM came back up as a "Source" on my radio.
It must be like your check engine light... After 3 starts it resets itself.

That was another weird thing.
The check engine light never came on during this whole mess.

Got two Tactacam Reveal Pro 3 cameras. Tried calling them to set up the account since I had questions.
After 21 mins on hold to their non toll free customer service number, I gave up.
I will try one more time. If I still can't get a hold of anybody, I will probably take these things back to Tractor Supply.

Doesn't help when people just don't care about other folks property. They know they will get away with it.

Wife caught 2 guys taking our gate apart last week. They were from some power company and had to work on line that parallels our property. The power company road is crap so they were gonna :use" our private drive.

She came out of our truck with our shepherd and just started lighting those guys up. Dog made them very compliant.

I told her she should have called the sheriff and let them get caught and then charge them.

Sorry the op got robbed by thieving scum bags. Had a friend in a similar situation, meaning valuables locked up on remote property and we came up with the idea of setting up an owl box high on a tree and include a solar panel and hidden camera as one point of surveillance, but never set it up because his situation changed and he sold the property not long afterward. Another thing we did do was mount small, inconspicuous cameras in his storage container to identify who and what in the event of a break in. Another thing we did was securely attach small but noisy piezo alarms (there are a lot of options) to easily moveable stuff that have a trigger that gets pulled out (attached to fishing line) to activate the alarm. We also wired up additional alarms that triggered if a door was opened. It wouldn’t stop anyone, but adds to their confusion and time trying to quiet the alarms. These days I would also place Apple tags in or on things making them trackable. My other take away from the op is to always check thoroughly the surrounding area for stuff that was stashed, something I hadn’t thought about.

Those Apple tags are next on my list. I have to see what the equivalent is for Android.

problem with air tags it notifies others if in the vicinity of their phone, kind of defeats the purpose.

They don't zero into a specific phone number that activated them?
You mean they kind of blanket the area with the signal?
