I had to check on this. His father was the star. I never realized that Jim played the part of his brother.
One line from the movie Thunder Road has always stuck with me; when Doolin said to his ypunger brother; "Someday every house will be powered by nuclear."

Mom came over yesterday for my son’s birthday. She’s 82 and her husband is 88. Mom said, “we’re getting old.”

I said, “just getting there, eh?”

Always tough to see the parents you knew in their 30’s, start to fall apart in their 80’s. Mom was very athletic up into her 50’s, taking us water skiing all summer, and snow skiing almost every weekend in winter. Tennis year round, in-between. But all things come to an end.
