A lost art... like the mix tape!I remember taping her songs with a portable Panasonic cassette recorder during Kasey Kasem's top 100 songs of 1973 and 1974.

We had a local radio station, WAOR, which stood for Album Oriented Rock. They'd play one side of an album in its entirety every weeknight at midnight. They'd let you know ahead of time which side of an album they were going do play. So you could set up your cassette recorder to the station and hit REC a few seconds before midnight and get the whole side. Very nice back then.A lost art... like the mix tape!
I had more than one casette as a kid, where the end of the song was interrupted by Kasey Kasem.A few years younger than you, but I remember one in particular, the Hooters "And we danced" recorded off Saturday's "Billboard top 100" in the early 1980's.
I did the same thing on new years day for several years in the 70's. I still have them but haven't even looked at them for decades. I wonder if they are still playable.I remember taping her songs with a portable Panasonic cassette recorder during Kasey Kasem's top 100 songs of 1973 and 1974.
