not sure we'll ever know but something was sure fishy about that JFK shooting.
what a horrible time for our country. I was 13 and it was the first time I had understood what
danger there was out there. Someone killed our President!
Worse it was my sister's birthday, so I'll
never forget to be reminded on November 22.

I was a kid on a farm, super safe area, totally isolated from the world's realities.
and then we went to public school, learned to hide under a desk and listen to the air raid siren.
by then we knew there was a lot of danger out there.

if he was willing to jam all that unhealthy food in himself for a story,
something tells me his normal diet likely wasn't vegan.
cancer can come from anywhere but it sure seems to like red meat, sugar and
highly processed foods.
I would have liked to have seen a historical pattern of his comprehensive lab results
before and after eating all that fast food.
Its been 20 years, not sure there is cause and effect here.

I cook with virtually no added sugar and rarely eat processed foods. I do eat red meat, but only lean cuts and no hormone fed. I guess I can't see where lean, clean red meat is any worse than other meats.

I'm in agreement with you on the OJ case.

Unfortunately, once a detective is caught lying, the case is shot. It opens the door to reasonable doubt. If he hadn't lied, maybe some, or just one, of the jurors wouldn't have agreed to acquit him. Then it would have been a hung jury, and could be tried again. However, all agreed there was a reasonable doubt, and that was that.

Fast forward to the civil trial, and all jurors agreed he was responsible for the two deaths. Fuhrman refused to be deposed for that case and used the fifth amendment so as not to possibly incriminate himself. What does that say about a person?

Like I mentioned above, good friends of ours lost a child to murder, along with two other victims, and the entire case was blown by one lying detective. It sucks. But no justice system reform will resolve the issue when a witness lies.

In our state it is legal for a police officer to lie to extract confessions, So once the lying is in thier routine it can spill over into a habit.

True in all states. Also any statement you make may be taken out of context to secure a warrant.
