Rick,
The photos show it works.................but does the double action wedge work twice as fast as a single action wedge? Would you buy one again?

Depending on your IP flow rate, it can be twice as fast as a similar standard splitter(my flow rate is 16.8 gpm). Another option would be a splitter with a 4-way head on it which would be equal to this one. Yes I would buy it again and also for the ability to raise the table height to about 40"...saves my back from bending over the lower pull behind splitters.

I bought a bunch of 4x4 all heavy all wire cages w/built in pallets at a trading post for $15 ea. I can fork two at a time, set one next to the splitter and toss & stack as I split. When it's full, I just back up, fork it then park it where I want it.

The cages are on the left in this pic:

I thought y'all might get a kick out of this:

If that moth was human he/she would be an interior decorator:laughing:
This is on the copper counter top and the color match from copper to moth is pretty darn close.

Rick,
Glad it works well. The moth AND countertops have awesome color.

Rick,
Could you take a closeup picture of one of the cages? How many did you buy?

I have made a lot of great use of the 4 box palettes we got last year. They are awesome for handling firewood.

I do have some like that and got them from a bulk oil dealer. They are bigger than the all metal ones & have a wood pallet base. I got the ones that were a bit bent up or needed new wood pallets under them for free.

The all metal ones look like the one's here on the bottom left:
Collapsible Wire Mesh Pallet | Wire Mesh Cages Pallets Manufacturers & Suppliers

These retail for $70, but the place i got them from had bought out a closed furniture factory for $15 ea and I bought a dozen. They are very heavy duty made from solid welded wire and should last a few lifetimes.
