Apparently the War Dept negotiated a convincing argument for all of the $ we asked for on the loan. When we went into sign, the original requested amount was on the papers:thumbsup: Don't get me wrong, there is no lagniappe here, it all goes to bills, but at least now they are ALL paid off.

Still "moving in" so there are boxes & contained being filled/emptied/filled.......man we have a lot of crap. Some crap I have not seen since 2003...vintage crap. Some vintage crap went right back in the container to later go to the local vintage crap auction. Once we get rid of this crap, it makes room for more "new" crap........{sigh}

On the bright side I bought a Northern Tool 20 ton Dual Action PTO wood splitter and put it together this evening. I need 2 hydraulic hoses for it & will pick 'em up in town tomorrow. Then I need to get cutting and splitting before winter catches me firewoodless.

We have moved many times and one time when an old friend helped, and after seeing all our crap, he told me that granddad told him "If you haven't used it in a year, you don't need it." Since then we don't move crap.

By the way, I am probably the only one here that has not told you how much I admire your do it yourself mentality. And artistic as well. When you get settled in you should consider oil painting or sculpture.

Brandi...IP = Injector Pump.....I got it figured out....all "operator error":eek:

Thanks Russ, believe it or not drawing is not one of my strong points....unless it's rather abstract. I am really trying to improve my chainsaw sculpture but I think I am going to be limited to primitive Neanderthal type faces{grunt}:laughing:

Yes, I agree...a year is a good standard for hauling off crap.....we are way overdue!

Nope, I got one of those ONE TIME....yep two weeks later I had the flu.....NEVER AGAIN.

Still moving in, hanging pictures, buying a few items at second hand furniture stores. Plenty to do here...need three loads of gravel on the driveway when the weather breaks, still cutting and splitting more firewood, have to build a fence for the dogs(one of our Welch Terriers got in a fight with the neighbor dog and lost...big time...he is at the vet with holes almost clean through his thigh), Need another door for the bathroom, and both cathedral openings over the bathroom & master bedroom need closing-in, then a river rock hearth for the propane fireplace insert needs building, aaaaaand the two exposed exterior walls of the basement need insulation and stucco.......the list goes on an on........:scratchchin:

What you need is a super fly wood shed to keep it all dry.
