This is why I respect you, @Hay Dude
It's easy to do it in early spring, and when you are fresh at it.
Harder to do it when tired.

Definitely respect your hustle, and thank you for being generous with your time to share your experiences with us!
Thanks. I love it, and it’s because it’s challenging.
People tell me I can’t do something, it’s like rocket fuel for me.

How often do you have to change your blades? Do you ever sharpen them?
I’d say 3X per year. Now if I get into some rough crap, I will sharpen before I get back onto a customers grass.
CX-15 blades are really tough. Hold an “edge” well. Stand up to 3”+ material, then cut grass. I highly suggest Deere rotary cutters.

More drenching thunderstorms last night here in “coastal” PA. Flash flooding in my back yard.
I think I saw a couple dolphins swim by.🐬

A few from a few days ago. Under the power lines, on flood plain.

Barely dry enough to bale, but the baler showing plenty of dust.

How old is that baler and how many bales has it made?

2014
~25,000
It has a lot more years on it than bales through it
2000 bales/yr is low

@Hay Dude Whatever happened with the truck you were looking to buy?

Its a long saga. Seller didn't want to put truck title in his name until I promised to buy it. Probably didn't want to pay the tax until he knew he had it sold.
He dragged his feet for a month.
I lost track of it.
He reached out to me last week and said someone's coming to look at it the 11th.
That was the last communication.

I still want to buy it.
