Hadn't thought about the shed timing. I think I'll go looking for some. That ol boy in my last video would be a handsome buck if both sides were symmetrical.

Some shed hunters around our area say when one side falls about several days other side falls near by.

Unfortunately their path goes deeper into the brush than I am willing to go. Years ago the woods around my place were not so thick and I use to wonder all over them. Never found a shed antler.

What a coincidence, the kids and I startled a couple of large deer taking the dog out for a run the other day:

That is a size 13 rubber boot for size comparison...

Here is the PC view of the camera software.

I usually play back recorded videos with the android app on my phone but to download the full recordings I have to go to the computer. The phone app just lets you select portions of clips.

Here is a revised image of my camera setup and some track photos I took. I have one deer with a large spread toe track I don't believe I have caught on video yet.

Young deer unwilling to share and occasionally acting like they want to head butt like a goat.

That's what is great about video compared to still pictures;you get all the action.Deer often compete for dominance over feed.Boy, your deer sure are small compared to ours up North.

This last video are all youguns but I think our deer are in general a bit smaller. They most certainly are not Mule Deer. A good size buck around here would probably weigh in around 300 lbs.

This video features a pair of does I have named the Duras Sisters. I believe them to be siblings. They always show up together and willingly share with each other. I have seen them run other deer off on several occasions. This time a fox tries to infringe on their turf and they run him off. He circles around and gets them to chase him into my front yard then he doubles back for another try. It looks like he may give their mineral block a squirt as he comes back on the final pass. He doesn't last long before they run him off again but the video paused and didn't catch that last part.
