The Big Rock

An interesting story. Sad to see the Big Rock destroyed by some half-wit politician. We have our own big rock here in New Hampshire, not far from where I live. Fortunately, some saw the value in preserving it. The New Hampshire Division of Parks and Recreation : Madison Boulder Natural Area

I checked it out TCJatko, that is one big rock. I am glad to see other states didn't do what they did there in Lucas county. That area by you where the boulder is looks beautiful.

Good story, thanks for sharing. Sometimes we just don't appreciate what we have and a few people will make it their mission to spend a lot of energy removing something simply because it's there.

We have a nice rock as well, it is being preserved by Acres Land Trust. It is called Hangin Rock and it is on the bank of the Wabash River in Wabash County Indiana. 70 feet tall and open to the public to climb and enjoy.
I urge all who ever gets to this area put it on their to do list.
