I've been lurking on this site for awhile, absorbing as much as possible on Kubotas, and just ordered a new 3130DT with 723 loader, skid steer quick detachable bucket & R4 tires. I went with the gear drive after trying all 3 Kubota transmissions. I'm sure the others are wonderful after you use them, but I like what I'm used to and wanted all the HP I can get at the PTO for my chipper.
Thanks to all who post on this board for sharing your experiences. I got a fair price (mid-16s) for a great tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I knew nothing about Kubotas when I started looking, but after studying many of the previous posts, I felt educated enough not to be taken advantage of.
I also want to put in a word for Barlow Farm Equipment. in Somerset, KY. Brady Barlow was extremely courteous and competitive on his prices. He couldn't quite reach the deal that I got on an older "new" tractor, but it wasn't for lack of trying. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good deal on a good tractor.
Thanks.
Ian
