This is a great community of people who are willing to share their experiences and information. Plus, I have seen very few spats on here--I guess most people with tractors are just nicer /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Which bearcat chipper do you have and are you happy with it ?

I have the 73454 self feed model. I am very happy with it. With sharp blades it will pull in and chip up to 4.5 inch stuff. It is a perfect match for my 22HP tractor.

I need to get one of those soon. I can not burn in the summer. Its on my list. I'm getting a log splitter this month.

Tell us about the log splitter you are getting.
I am getting ready to build one. There is a great thread in the build it yourself forum with a price list of everything that was needed.
I had looked at the one from Northern Tool, about $450... of course it is almost $200 to ship it! I think building it sounds better to my cheap nature /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
