This spring, before I got my tractor, my Dad came over and disked parts of my old mesquite field, (after it was root plowed). The pictures show the results of my new native grass field. The wildlife and cows love it. Dad has had that tractor for 20 years. Thanks Dad.

The field is part black land and part sand. Total of the disked area was 10 acres in this fenced 17 acre field. The grass was hand planted and rolled with a homemade roller made with a steel pipe golf cart tires and pulled by my Farmall A.
