I have to agree with you on this one Kidr. My 25th anniversary to my first and only wife will be this June (I am very lucky!). I decided years ago that if she ever gave me the boot that I wouldn't go looking for a replacement. I am starting to think that women are (for the most part) more trouble than they are worth.

I am going to poke a little fun:) with this post..............please add to the above post..............unless they have a tractor.:D

Thanks for not blasting me Brandi! After I posted I thought I would get a few jabs for that comment but I was talking (typing) a little bit in jest.

Well Eddie....I'm sure you miss the kids alot. Have had friends who got divorced from spouses whom had kids. The thing they say after a while is that they miss the kids more than the wife. I'm sure she is catching h*ll greatly from the kids also. Why did we have to leave Eddie's mom? When are we going back? I miss Eddie. Believe me, they will wear her down with that, and never let up. Women whom only think of themselfs, and never take their kids into consideration when they do such acts only create anomosity. Between themselfs, and their children. I'm sure the kids are really hurting, and missing you. They were living at a fantastic place they enjoyed greatly. Came home to a real house, with a super dad. They just don't forget. Now they are living with her folks, or worst. You, and the children are the wronged parties here. I'm sure they are questioning her mental stability constantly. And the extremely poor judgement she has exercised on their behalf. You stay busy marine.

Here's the advice I got from a professional one time when I went through this.

He said when women do this they are immature. He explained maturity does not come with age it comes from inside. You can have a very mature 16 year old, (and we've all seen those, heck I have a 13 year old who is more mature than many adults), and he said you can have an immature 40 year old.

Man that did it for me and it explained everything. Some people never mature and no one on the planet can force maturity. For an immature person the grass is always greener on the other side and the thing is they never run out of "other sides". They are always looking for the next thrill, the next high, the new person, the next anything, they are never ever happy with what they have and you know what - they never will be.

Listen having her out of your life is the blessing that was given to you and you have yet to see that. Better she's out of your life sooner than later.

You want someone around when you get older to change your bed pan and she wasn't going to be that person, but rest assured that peson is out there waiting for you.

Right now you are counting the seconds since you sa her, then it will be minutes, then hours, then days and soon it will bee weeks and months then you will be healed.

After feeling blu after a break up for way too long one day I woke up and said NO MORE, she will not waste one more minute of my life, and she never did from that day.

I took all that negative energy that I was wasting and used it for good.

What you need to do immediately is find some old lady and offer to fix her faucet, repair her fence, find a shelter and offer to fix something there. Call any church in the phone book and offer your services free.

Use those God given talents you have and use them to help others and in return by helping others it will keep your mind occupied and off all of this garbage.

Get out of the house get off the couch, pick up the phone and help anyone and everyone till this passes.

DO IT NOW, no more moping around, that is negative energy and that will kill you.

Eddie, I think that house is doing you no good right now. Why don't you get out of the house and go over to Lowes, HD, or some other store. Even the library in Tyler or an indoor part of the Tyler zoo. Heck, if you are up for a road trip, maybe even a trip to the Ft. Worth Stock Show. It runs through Feb. 7th and Feb. 1st is Military Day. Get away for awhile is my advice. You'll be able to move your mind away from depressing thoughts and sights. At the stock show or anywhere, take time to talk to anyone who wants to talk without mentioning your problems. Give your body and soul a rest. You deserve it.:)

..........or the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. I love the Ag Mechanics show which I think is the weekend of March 13th! The Ag Mechanics show is when FFA and 4H students show off their farm projects. Lots of welding projects (many great ideas) and restored tractors.
hugs, Brandi

Got an inch and a half last night. It's been mud and more mud her for about two months now. It's too cold for the clay to dry out, and driving over it just creates a mess if you don't get stuck, if you get stuck, it's a nightmare.

I took Jim's advice while it was drizzling today and went to walmart. I bought new sheets and a comforter, a new clock and night light. It's not much, but it will make going to bed different and I won't smell her on the sheets. Making it fresh and new!!!

Then I went to Office Max, Office Depot and Best Buy to look at a new computer. I've had Dell for well over ten years, and I don't want Dell anymore. I was looking around, and reading the magazines on the better rated computers. Heck, Dell wasn't even on any of the lists. I don't know what happened there, but I guess I'm not the only one fed up with them and their lack of customer support.

I remember when Gateway was doing good, then fell apart, and now from what I read in the magazines, doing good again. I looked at HP, Compaq, Asus, Emachines and a few others, but kept coming back to the Gateway.

The machine that I'm on now is Steph's. I bought her a laptop and then took over her desktop. I figure it's mine if I want it, but I don't want it, so I'll transfer what I want from the computers and then format the hard drive before giving it to her.

By the time I was done shopping, the rain had stopped, so I went to the job I'm working on and put in a few hours there. All in all, it was a pretty good day.

I hope it's not that pavillion. That would add salt to a wound.

Thank you to the moderators for allowing this thread to continue. I know that I've added to your workload with this thread with all that you do to keep it clean. It means allot to me to be able to read everyones comments and their words of support. Feeling alone and being lonely is something that I'm not used to, and not handling very well. I know it will pass, but until then, I really look forward to the advice and encuragement that I've received here. I can't imagine a better group of people then here on TBN.

Thank you,
Eddie

Eddie look for a scout troop near you.
You would be a valuable asset to a troop.
The look on a scouts face when he is having fun and learning some he never would have access to do is amazing.

I bought a Gateway lap top last year. I call it The Cow......from Gateways black and white cow print symbol.
People have asked me why I didn't dig all my stumps up all at once. I told them I didn't feel like it. When I get real low and need tractor therapy............I dig up stumps. I dug up two big ones yesterday, while waiting on the check (sold my parents house) to clear the bank! Knocking over trees would be about the same thing!

I like my Asus laptop computer, and Dell desktop..

Eddie, I have to say I am very happy with my new Dell Inspiron with Ubuntu Linux factory pre-installed. I got it with the biggest battery (nearly 7 hour life) and it is a relief after owning windows with all the virus problems, malware and spy software from Microsoft and everyone else. It only cost about $700. I may need to add a windows partition at some time for development software, but for the moment I am very happy.

Hey Eddie,

Even my wife is shocked and sincerely hopes that you'll stay busy and feel better soon. We are sure that the kids will be the toughest thing to get over. The other tough thing that can happen, (happened to me) is that she'll come crying to get back into your life. (Didn't let mine come back.) Obviously I didn't read the original post and this is all conjecture based on what I've gleaned from the thread. Maybe a family member can bring the kids over if you want to spend time with them. Your call on whether or not it will help you or them. She might not want to give you an opportunity to talk to them without her there. If she does let you take them, don't bash her. Just love on them.

Jinman is right, get out and do stuff. Another poster mentioned the Library and I agree. Libraries are virtually free and are chock full of great stuff from magazines and books to newspapers and who knows what. Great place to explore and learn.

Stay busy my friend.
