The North wind is a killer here for the house .. Just makes it a lot colder .. This morning it's alot better don't know if the following has any importance???

Cher commented on the dust that a wood burner produces ... I commented turn on the furnace fan only ...in hopes it will filter the air thru the furnace filter .. Feels warmer.. You think it's also distributing the warm air??

26 degrees here, going for a high of 36 according to the NWS. And our north wind has slowed to 15 mph, also. When I first got up this morning, it was 22, gusting to 31. But it's clear and sunny.

forecasting 27F here Monday morning. I noticed yesterday my skinny 2-3 ft tall asparagus has not died back despite a few light freezes. Wonder how cold it has to get to kill it off?

24* this morning and the wind has finally laid down. Looks like another Norther coming Wed. taking us down to 20* with the wind 18-21 mph. Total rain for last week was 3 3/4 inches.

NWS says 20 degrees this morning, going for a high of 44, but they'd been forecasting 17 for Wednesday night and now they've lowered that to 14. And I only got about 1.76" of rain in the last week, but was glad for even that much.

20 with light winds they say sunny and 43 today .. Near 50 tomorrow.. That's good I've got to splatter some JD Green on an accumulator and grapple .. May be able to do that !!!

Yes SUH!, the boys are hanging tough for a change, made it to the playoff for the 1st time since 09! Next Game Green Bay, temps at game time are supposed to be at 14*:shocked: Will be a great game.

Dennis- Looking forward to the game, but they have to get mentally ready for those kind of temperatures. I lived through "The Ice Bowl" and that was a tough one to loose, but the team this year seems to have a never say die attitude. They will need it this year.

I've read that fracker's can go to $17 and remain profitable, and that all their oil production contracts for 2015 have already all been sold, up at $80. Going to be awhile before they are effected. OPEC contracts for June and July are at $20-30, so it's going to stay low for awhile. HS

Nine Earthquakes!
Any of you North Texans feel anything?

My son felt the 2nd one, it was 3.6. he was about 15 miles West in the mid-cities area. A couple of folks on the hunting forum also felt it around Dallas. One fella said he felt it in his truck while at a stop light all the way up in Frisco.

One of our daughters and her husband live in Irving, so she said they felt them, but out here just south of Denton we haven't felt anything at all from any of the earthquakes.
