I think Texas and OK has an unwritten agreement that one is not needed for short visits. Never used one visiting my cousins in Shattuck. Or cutting across the SW corner of OK on the way to Grandpa's farm in the Texas Panhandle.

Every time I cross into Texas the inspection station is closed!!! You know the one that says something about "livestock poultry alien inspection"

I'm very excited. I'm posting this from my tablet at the foot of the driveway waiting for the UPS guy to show up. I've got a lawnchair, sleeping bag and three days of MREs.
