I have to brag when I can. It seems it is so rare for me to get rain. And BR, you need rain too. If things don't get a lot better around here soon, I fear I'll be coming to OK for hay, this summer. You need to grow some!

You deserve the bragging rights !!! I'm getting a really nice rainfall now ... If the rain keeps comes I'll have hay !!!

Good for all Y'all that got rain. We got 6/10ths here today and it's still raining. The ground is saturated and my island pond is 6 inches from full.

My daughter and Grand daughter are here this weekend. I changed her oil and filter and front brake pads on her Ram 1500. But at least I got treated to Firehouse Subs for my work!
hugs, Brandi

We've got 1 1/8" this morning in the gauge. Rained hard and some wind and a little thunder but no Storms, so we'll take it and be proud of it.

On the radar this morning it's cloudy with just a little hole of clear over us............Big beautiful moon out there.

Charlie

Breezy here too, checked the gauge @6:40am , total of 1.42" for yesterday:thumbsup: No doubt there will be a quick green up now with some moisture in the ground. Cant wait to see if I caught any run-off in my little tank, it want dry Tuesday.

BR, now that fertilizer will get in there and do you some good! I haven't spoke with my brother on how much they got over in Ft, Towson, last I heard he was delivering to the Marine base in San Diego. Dont even know if he got his place fertilized yet.

FG and Jim, y'alls tanks must be looking pretty good right now, or at least better. I made it up to my little tank and found about 14-16":dance1:, it was dry 2 days ago:thumbsup:

I can see water in my tank, from the house, but would need about 6 weeks of getting daily rain like yesterday to fill it! I'm just happy to have received what I did, and am hoping for more as soon as nature will provide it!

Double Ditto. . . what she said is exactly what I feel. If I could turn some of these wind gusts into rain showers, my tanks would fill up in no time at all.

The wind is HORRIBLE! Has me indoors, which means I don't have a good excuse not to clean house. Of course, it is either clean it now, or shovel it out later, or move!

Well, I went out and dug about 200' of drainage ditches with my middle buster, then took about 10 buckets of dirt out of the edge of the tank, then mowed 2 acres on top . I think in has gotten cooler since I started. You'd a thought I was hunting Elk the way I was dressed:laughing:

It is colder. It was 57 when I started my day, and is down to 45, on the way to 32 tonight.

I did my mowing yesterday, but it was sort of nice that I needed rubber boots to tend to horses, this morning! With this wind, it won't take it long to dry out again. :(

Actually it's darn near cold .. Those winds are brutal and looking at 30 overnight .. Neighbor says 1.89 inches of rain !!!

I drove out to see the wheat .. Instant improvement .. Rain is good !!

Yep, NWS says it was 55 degrees about 4 a.m. and has been slowly, but steadily going down to our current 42 and going for a low of 31 tonight, and with winds gusting to 41 mph, it seems downright chilly out there.

I took our mutt for a walk in the woods in a local park this morning. Of course I bundled up and stayed warm and back in the woods, we were just a little bit protected from the wind, but you should have seen the little mutt jump when a widowmaker broke with a terrific crack sound. She was looking around trying to tell where that sound came from.

And of course we had the whole park to ourselves. No one else was crazy enough to be out there this morning.

Good to know I am not the only one likes that! I enjoy listening to Corb in the mornings especially. His music gets my foot tapping and my blood pumping!

Here's another Corb song for the cattle folks in our group. No good video of Corb though. *sigh*
