Looks like Pete Delkus upped the chance of rain for tomorrow to 100% .50"-1.0" totals for my are predicted:thumbsup: He also said 1" to1-1/2" hail, 60mph+ winds and isolated tornadoes  Y'all better check your weather radio batteries!

I didn't get all that Pete put on you .. I just got "on the edge" of that !!!

Jim, good for the whole family,,,,,,in this instance:laughing:

Scott, we have some daffodils showing, but not near as far along. The Dallas arboretum and the Ft Worth Botanical gardens have been on the news here for the incredible flowers showing, allot of neat colored tulips this year.

I pushed the mower around the back yard this morning, then hoed in the garden and got the zucchini and yellow squash seeds in! I was pushing the mower around the barn, when light rain began. Only 0.1", so far, but with the dense grass and weeds, it was choking down the mower, so had to quit. With the time change, I'll get the front lawn mowed one evening, this coming week, and finish hoeing the garden section for tomatoes and peppers.

In spite of my winter workout regimen, I am still sore from the beginning of Spring chores! Second time I have mowed the lawn, in the last 4 weeks. If we'd have had rain during the winter, I'd be mowing every 5-7 days, and it is only the middle of March!

Perfect temps though! I have the house opened up and airing out, as it will probably be closed up tomorrow, with the passage of the cold front.

Yep, I mowed for the second time this year 2 days ago. Last year, by the 15th of March I'd mowed 4 times, and the year before (2012), I mowed the 5th time on March 15 and the 6th time on March 18.

This drought is bad. So far today, I've gotten about 0.04" of rain.

Yes, last year, I was mowing weekly, even in February.

Rain is falling here, enough that I got soaked between the barn and the house! 0.3", so far! Thundering too! Looks like it might do this for a few hours!!!! I could go for that! :cool2:

Over 1" and still heavy rain, winds are incredible, easily 50mph plus!

We currently have thunder and rain. Looks like my gauge has another .15" in it so far, but still coming down. And things may change, but so far, hardly any wind, barely a light breeze. I cooked a big thick ribeye steak on the grill on the patio with no concern for the wind.

Almost an inch in the gauge now, and luckily, no bad winds. Enough to blow the rain onto the porch, but not much more. Lots of thunder here too. This is the sort of Springtime storm that I like to have, and if it will stay like this and rain all night, that's even better!

8/10" here so far and no wind whatsoever. We had some light gusts before the rain, but none after the rain started. We just need about 4 more hours of this.:D

I have some light flooding, came down so hard, in a short period. Sure needed. Odd we only heard thunder around 5 times and no hail:thumbsup:

The high wind we got where in the storm just leaving us now, headed y'alls way. They came on the last half of it.

The serious downpour has arrived, and it went over an inch in my gauge in a hurry. So I've already gotten more rain today than the rest of the year combined.:)

 I told ya! came down fast here too! I think it is the only measurable rain I've had this year?, the rest where the ice and light snow.

Exactly 1" here, so I too have had more rain than the last 4-5 months combined.

Braggers!!! 2/10's here ... Radar looks like some more on its way ... Hoping!!!

I have to brag when I can. It seems it is so rare for me to get rain.

And BR, you need rain too. If things don't get a lot better around here soon, I fear I'll be coming to OK for hay, this summer. You need to grow some!

We did finally get some of Dennis's wind, but nothing serious. It did blow rain across the patio. And now it appears to all be over and the sun's shining. I got a total of about 1.71".
