I just came in from pushing the mower around the lawn.

I hadn't mowed since Oct. 19, . . . . until yesterday. And 5 hours of string trimming and mowing and bagging about wore out this old man.

And I haven't seen many postings by jinman.

jinman; If ya need anything, send a PM. We can help, if needed! Otherwise, take care, and feel better soon!

Thanks for your concern, FG. As expected, I have good days a bad days. Mid-week, I drove our trash to the county dumpsite and even spent a half-hour shopping in Walmart. Getting out of the house was really good. I really haven't done enough to have much to add to the thread, so I just read all of y'all's posts and grin. When I need something, my sweet wife is right there to help me. I'm gonna owe her several big-time celebrations when this period of treatment is over. :)

I ran the weedeater, until my arms wouldn't hold it anymore yesterday morning. (Still have a couple of areas to whack, but then that chore is finished for the season!) Then climbed on my green guy and worked in the pasture, until the shadows were really long. Got that job finished too! I have a 2.5 acre pasture that could stand some hogging, but it might have to wait until Springtime. If we get rains this winter and early spring, I'll just buy some calves and throw in there on it, and let them mow it down!

This coming weekend sure looks like it will be different temp-wise than this past one. Can we skip winter this year? I am so much better skinny dipping, than bundling up!

Jinman- Hope you're on the mend. May you have fair winds and following seas.

I want to thank FG19 for the link to the "Family and friends section", Being busy, I only have a few moments to "gloss over" TBN at times. Next time, somebody shoot up a flare!!! Sometimes I'm "slow"

Prayers for you Jim, look forward to more of your post when you beat this thing.

Don, that old fellow with the white beard looks like he's lost some weight (which I wish I could do). Has he lost weight or is it my imagination?

Dennis,
Don't feel so bad. I routinely check out "Today's Posts", and I still missed it. FG pointed me to the thread also.

Jim,
I pray you are feeling better. You got a lot more folks here pulling for you!
hugs, Brandi

Hey, I know those guys. Isn't that Larry, Curly, and Moe? Great picture! Actually, as bald as I am, I might make a perfect Curly.

Thanks to everyone for the good wishes. I want to keep this thread about Texas Fall/Winter and not my troubles. Of course there is nothing wrong with your good wishes. Those are appreciated. I just want to keep the details in the other thread if possible.

Haven't seen that one. The ads I see are for skid steers, trailers and hospitals. Cant figure the last one. Maybe somebody is trying to tell me something?

I have never got an ad?? I do have Adblock plus, maybe that is why? hmmm

Only Call of Duty thing I know of is the PC game trilogy under that same name?

In my opinion, Microsoft is not doing their business any good by using that kind of screen-grab ad for their XBox or the Call of Duty game. Perhaps they are feeling pressure from the big PS4 sales news. Muhammad is aware and working diligently to get that eliminated. It shouldn't be here long. He described the problem in the Feedback forum. TBN will remain the best darn site on the web.

I get it also.

Saturday night and over Sunday morning, we got 1/4 inch of rain in a slow drizzle. We had fog all night here with another .05 of an inch of rain. This morning, I noticed the rye grass seed I put out on the dam has sprouted and now has a short green velvet look. I'll try to get a photo tomorrow.
hugs, Brandi
