Started making logs for the mill

Actually making room to move the trailer to the other side of the barn so I can get logs onto the trailer. Next step is to start clearing just under 5 acres for the pole barn and guest cabin.

Is that a Woodmizer LT15? If you ever want to sell it, I'll buy it.

Yep! With the Diesel engine. Got it from Rockn' D Sawmill in Kirbyville. Awesome people to do business with!

Each year I want to attend their saw mill open house, but I always have a conflict on the dates of the open house.

How about Wednesday the 3rd? I'm not set on it, just suggesting it to get a plan in place. If Tuesday or Thursday works better let me know. I have homework on Monday.

Kyle, Ron will be in the county later today, (every mile closer he gets it will be getting colder), we will meet up and pick one of those 3 days. Mike, any day better for you? The time will be 6:30.

Where the heck did that come from? The SAID it would warm up to 70 by noon with temps dropping in the afternoon. Planned on a lunch time ride then hunker down for the cool off. Well, 9:30 a.m., temp dropped from 63 to about 50. Apparently my window was at 8-9. Missed it. Walk at lunch, but it was cold and windy, and the temps keep dropping. Now down to 45 here and the wind she is a blowin'.

Sounds like nice warm weather to me. Our temperature got up to 39 today and has started back down. This morning the NWS was forecasting 30 tonight, but now they've changed that to 26. And that north breeze all day has made it seem even cooler.

You're darn near to Canada. You have to expect that. Down here in Sunny near Mexico, that's not supposed to happen. We have palm trees for goodness sake. I think this latest blast is finally going to kill my tomatoes.

I think someone secretly tied a tow rope to the cold front to your RV.

@sseelhoff, when my brother lived up in Denton, I used to tell him that there wasn't anything between Denton and the north pole to stop the cold.

I let Ron steal my seat time with the grapple today and he also help me cut limbs. I have been putting off this job for 7 years and it just has gotten bigger every year. We finished about 1/3 mile of fence line. We are starting to see daylight at the other end. Below are photos from today.

Wow, I knew it is a little dry here but didn't figure it was a disaster yet. Lakes and tanks are low but it's been a good hay season.
