hey Bird save me some time, but why is my sig. not showing correctly? is it because it shows html off? and if so how do i turn it back on????

Frank go to your Control panel. Then click on Edit Options. Then down at the bottom is how you change the Interface Editor. Change it to Enhanced Editor. Then go back to the Control Panel and Edit Signature. Change the font to Bold and Orange.
Hopefully I added a signature that is Orange although not bolded

Gatorboy---- No. I'm just having a tough time with my limited computer skills getting used to the new look of TBN. I just wanted to see what my sig and avatar looked like. For some reason the new settings didn't apply to my old posts.

Dean it's new software, a lot of things didn't migrate over. We just need to get used to it.

My avatar and sig link have disappeared off my old posts. Lets see if today's revisions work.

Also, old posts by everyone show raw html where there was interpreted html, and a box referencing a picture where there had been an imbedded picture.

I have reset cookies as described in a recent thread. What else needs to be done?

There's another step that some may need for a color signature.

When I made my sig italic, it killed the color attribute. With the wysiwig editor you can't see what the problem is.

I had to switch to the intermediate editor to see the html coding, and move the Color tags inside the Italic tags, to get the Yanmar green I intended. (I think it looks good on the tractor, but man that color text is ugly!)

I then went back to wysiwig.

You can use markup, but not HTML in your signature.
