Mornin Mechanic,
We have used Terminix. A few years ago we had a very bad mealey moth (sp?) problem in our Ct home. It took them a few visits and my wife and I emptying the kitchen of any meal products to finally get rid of those pests. We couldnt have any breads, pasta, cereals etc stored in the house at all. We bought a cabinet for the garage to store all these items and so far, knock on wood, no mealey moths /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
To your original question, I would say they did their job although it took awhile ! Be glad to answer any other questions!

I had a termite bond with them for several years. They sent a letter to me that stated they would be glad to keep taking my money to renew my policy every year but , here's what we don't cover. The list of termites that they don't cover (if they cause damage) was so large that, they only covered damaged caused by 1 type of termite. I canceled my $85.00 per year contract with them.They have called & sent several letters trying to retain my business.I wouldn't recmond them to anyone!

I had them and after a few years of trying to get rid of termites i finally aquired the sentracon bait station and got rid of the termites myself

I found terminix expensive and their guarantee really didn't cover anything. I located a guy through the local community college. He teaches their vocational courses on extermination. Was very happy with him and he charged much less money, ironclad guarantee. Also was willing to tell me everything known about bugs if I wanted to listen. Maybe you could find someone the same way if you have a local college or extension office.
