Today I sold my pt 110. And am going to post a report on machine, for owners/ possible purchasers. First my experience is based on my dealer, which just think worst case scenario. when the machine does run , it does produce like they say it will. terex themselves did step up to the plate, even though machine was out of warranty.
I picked up machine today, it arrived at dealer for repair on August 8 th. The amount of stuff they worked on was just unbelievable. With direct factory support they could not trouble shoot the electrical or the a/c. Multiple replacement parts, salenoids,fuses etc etc. the failure was not major mechanical parts it was shorty wiring harness, poorly designed fuse panel, ecu, heads up display etc. the a/c was so bad my dealer refused to work on it.
I'm trying to be truthful about this machine. It had 700 hrs on it. For those looking I would simply say look closely. Terex has a good platform, but they need major improvements. The hydrolic tank overflows when it gets warm, blowing oil all over radiator, red dot a/c has issues. Plastic gas tank gets squashed by mulch build up under loader arms.
Like I said I only had 700 hrs on it in 1 1/2 years due to breakdowns. I will be happy to answer further questions by pm, for those of you that have them. Terex themselves are helpful, but they can only do so much.
