I had to re-thread the sending unit hole in the block of my 1500D in order to get it to work. First time I ever threaded a hole in my life....took my time, took maybe 10 mins tops and my temp gauge works like a champ..no idiot lights for me

Sunpro's CP7574 kit contains the 16mm x 1.5mm adapter for the 1500 temp sensor. The adapter is available elsewhere, too.
