A federal jury awarded $17.7 million in damages to Kraft and other major food suppliers on Friday for a price-fixing conspiracy that egg producers Cal-Ma Foods and Rose Acre Farms were trying to limit the egg supply in the U.S. to drive up prices.

When are we going to do the same for the petroleum companies?

Only a few years ago, America was self sufficient in energy production.

Then there was an election that changed that and cost the American taxpayer a bundle.

We still produce plenty of energy. Big Oil just ships it overseas to make more $$$

We could still be independent easily, just back off some of the EPA's mandates and requirements. Much of crude and even the natural gas in this country does not refine to the standards we have let the EPA place on fuels and emissions. Our "sour" crude is shipped overseas and we purchase "sweet" crude and gas in it's place.
