Hello I'm new here! My question is I'm rebuilding a Tecumseh HH60 for a friend. I ordered parts and the connecting rod that was in the engine had a little piece of metal mounted on the splash blade, I'm guessing a scoop for the oil? The new rod doesn't have it, just the splash blade! Do I need the little steel scoop on the new rod? The engine is an HH60-105115H mounted on a Troy Bilt Horse. Thanks for any help in advance!
