TEA 20 Hydraulic issues

Hi John I am having troubles with a Massey TEA 20 Hydraulic system failure. I remove the lift cover cleaned out the oil and sludge put it back together and had it lifting but not dropping what th could be the problem

It sounds like something on the linkage control valve is not right might want to pull the top again and see if everything is in place, also check control spool is moving correctly
