I am blessed to have inherited my Grandfather's 1947 Ford 2-N. Interestingly, we knew the man who bought it originally in 1947 and he didn't like the 3-speed transmission or the limited lift assembly. He installed an 8-N transmission/lift/dash/steering sector assembly (even though "experts" said it couldn't be done) and it has been that way every since. It has been in our family since 1953 and is still running great, especially now w/ electronic ignition.
