Hi Folks,
My steering connector rod is bent upward and wearing against a cover on the front differential casing. It has a jam nut holding the adjustment at each end. I think the jam nut on the left side is a left hand thread. What is the best way to break the jam nut loose at each end? I have tried using to large adjustable wrenches with a pipe for leverage to no avail. (Wrenches jaws stretched to much.) I could unbolt the whole assembly from the hub assembly at each side, but was trying to work around that option. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
Kind Regards,
Steve

It may be easier to just take the tie rods off the knuckle. As to what one is left hand thread or if theres one just look at the threads.

I did this same job on my tc40 about a month ago. I hope you have a hydraulic press to make it straight.

Any way you can apply some heat to at least break the paint bond?
