New Holland TC33DA hydro w/supersteer
My New Holland TC33DA seems to be stuck in full time 4WD. I can't turn without the rear tires rubbing and skipping on the ground.

I checked the part-time/full-time 4WD lever/cable, and it's moving freely. It attaches to a small arm on the front underside of the tractor (with a spring inline) and that all looks OK.

I tried driving in a straight line, forward and backward, in all ranges, and that didn't cure it.

Any suggestions?

It sounds more like your differential lock is stuck.

I also wondered if it was the differential lock. So, as an experiment, I drove up to a stump alongside my gravel driveway, put the FEL bucket against it, and gently tried to move forward. Only one rear tire (and one front tire) spun in the gravel.

If it were a stuck diff-lock, wouldn't both rear tires spin?

Agreed, stuck in 4WD. I originally thought you meant both rears were spinning, and that's why one was skipping during turns.

Did you ever get this problem resolved? My TC40DA supersteer is doing the same thing. It looks like the cable was hit by a branch or small log. I cant find anything on the parts diagrams.
