Just an update..........I finally got around to installing the replacement OEM key switch I received from Messicks ($56.49+). Took about an half hour including taking apart the cowling. Works great.....lets see how long this one lasts. If it does not last very long THEN I will definitely go to another resource. Thanks for all the help. Oh by the way...at least they did include two keys with the switch.

bringing an old post back up,,I just acquireed a TC29D,,tractor has lived an abusive life til now, thw wring has been field mod a bit,,the swith has a couple bad positions,, im looking at an old post post and was wondering if the napa sw will work on this one, the wires to the sw are 2 reds, a purple, black and white,,I am not getting any voltgae from the battery at the sw,,I may have to by pass all the harness and run a wire from the starter to sw,,i am assuming the purple wire is the one back to the starter,,any idea what the black and white are and where they will conn on the new sw,,this may be a bit rambling but any help appreciated,,i also had to run a wire from the battery to fuel solenoid to make it run,,surprisling it runs very good
