When I checked the oil, it is a bit milky not terribly milky but slightly, so I am going to do a oil change before I try anything else.

Changed the hydraulic fluid, and yeah didn't change since its not hydraulically driven (As far as I can tell)...so next is a trip to the tractor doctor...am sure it will be a clutch replacement. They quoted me $1,500 and that seems in line with other quotes that I have seen online from others...

Did you get the instrument panel going? I'm sure a new panel would be pretty costly?

Have you tried adjusting the clutch? What is the freeplay currently? The manual says about 1in at the pedal. You should also have a spring holding the pedal up.

You Tube has lots of videos about getting abandoned tractors running again. Check out the DieselCreek channel. He does this all the time and shows you the steps he goes through for a variety of engines. It's a rather methodical approach.
