Hey there, somewhat new to tractors and just signed up to this forum.
For any TC24D owners I have a question.
Tractor is having a problem when on angled terrain. Usually side slope but not limited to that. I've had trouble snowblowing up and down the driveway but always figured it was a little low on fuel for the angle.
I was out mowing the lawn and sidesloping when it happened again. I'm quick to catch it with the clutch so I don't stall, and this time it was everything the tractor had to get pointed uphill towards the garage. As soon as it did, it cleared itself and chugged merrily up the hill without a hitch. I'm not talking about some monster hill, it's at best 15deg and likely not over 10. This time I had 7/8 of a tank of fuel.
Tractor has about 400hrs on it.
Being Sunday, I'm screwed for parts until tomorrow but my first part to throw at it will be a fuel filter (and air filter since it's likely due but isn't bad at all)
It's definitely fuel related..
Anyone know how it picks up the fuel? My quick internet search shows it's some sort of siphon affair from the top of the tank? .. Could the pickup be messed up in the tank?
Looking for any advice before I dive into it.
Thanks.
