TC24/26 vs B7610

NH's tend to have higher ground clearances than Kubota's and some Kubota models have exposed and sensitive engine components. If you work your tractor in rough terrain this could prove to be a liability. Hey Bob,
I'm 6'1", I thought both tractors felt ok comfort wise. But the TC felt just a bit better. But I've never had them side by side to compare, I have one local dealer that sells them both but he has neither in stock. Too bad for me.

Hey Bob,
Mowing will be the primary use, about 2acres finished(some trees). Although this summer I'll be doing alot of landscaping. About 40yds+ of topsoil to move and level, box scrape existing property, multiple rock walls to build, etc.
I've read somewhere on TBN that Kubota is one of the few companys that build all of their tractor parts, not much out sourceing. That is a big plus on the quality control end. I really am not up on info about Shibura.
I like the loader height and liftweight of the TC, A full foot higher and about 130lbs more. You can't beat that for loading a truck or dumpster. Also the position control over the 1/4in thing. The B2630 has the same specs as the TC including price but its a little to big of a machine, plus you can't get a grass vac for it. The 7610 feels alittle more tinny so to speak. Just grabing the handle between the two, the TC is soild and the B shakes the whole fender its mounted on.
Warranty work is another issue, none of my local dealers are anywhere near the price range of an 200 mile dealer. We're talking $1800-$2800 difference on a $20k machine. The NH guy worse than Kubota. Thats a little to much $ to pay for dealer service that I might use than I'd like. So which tractor is going to take less work in the future? No one knows. Kubota has an excellent track record, as I said before I'm not up on my Shibaru stats.
I was considering the TC24 because of the 0% for 60mon finance. Thats a big seller if I can find a leftover. The 26s are 0%for 36mo. Kubota is 2.99% for 36. So besides the leftover 24 the prices are within $1500 or so of each other.
So thats my dilemma, I can't have my cake and eat it too.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Can you explain the old style?

TCs construction of the loader, way beefier. Just one look at the bucket and you can tell. I don't think the 3ph weight will play a factor for me as I'll only be using blades, boxes, rakes, etc.

Don't confuse me.
Actually the local Case dealers are about the same $ as the NH.

"Pick out what will work for you, then get one size larger than you think you need -- you won't regret it."

The 24/26 and 7610 are one size up for my needs. The subs would work good but I wanted to go alittle bigger. I'll be in the woods and I'd hate to do any damage under the machine. The 29 and 2630 is way overkill. I'm still trying to justify the CUT instead of sub.
