TC stopped suddenly

Using the toolcat this evening when a loud shredding noise and a puff of smoke and the smell of rubber came out from under the bed. I quickly shut it off, got out and looked around. Saw nothing. started it up to try and lift bed. Nothing. Wouldn't move at all either. Shut it down again. crawled under and saw shreds of belt lying under the passenger side. Felt and the AC belt is missing. What happened?

If I understand correctly, the engine will run but you have no control functions? If engine won't run, will the starter turn it over?

yes, it will start but no response from bed, joy stick or forward or reverse.

apparently the drive belt is shredded. I think it is under warranty!!!

Same thing happened to me, fortunately it died in an accessible location. Bobcat covered the expense
