Tc-33D/TC-40D with 4 in 1 bucket

I am a newbe, need advise on tractor size. I am leaning
to the TC-40 because of additional HP & Grunt, and 4 cy.
I need something with some grunt...........

Located in northern Ca. on 7 AC. in the Santa Cruz Mt.'s near
Los Gatos.

The ground is very hilly & hard, and the property is very tight.

Will be using the tractor for loading, clean up, clearing up
slides & brush, and some grading.

Also need advise on where to buy. North Carolina seems to
have the best prices, California is 4 to 5 k higher.
Any advise would be great.

jag, You should compare tractors within their own classes. The 33 is a class II, the 40 is a class III. Find the class that best fills your needs then choose between the tractors in that size range. I love my TC-33, but it ain't no class III ! Extra power is like 4 wheel drive, ya don't need it till ya NEED it !

I have a TC40D with a 4n1 and love it. If it is really tight I would suggest that you drive a Supersteer and see how it feels. I really like mine too. Get your 4n1 plumbed electric over hydraulic with a Fassee valve - nice little switch on the joystick to operate the clam. Best of luck.

Fassee Valve, I belive thats the same as a one touch kit,
is it not.
Should be ording next week, after i'am sure I have all
the options decided on.

Bill,
Do be aware that most 4n1 buckets weigh quite a bit more than a standard bucket, and that will reduce your lift capacity. One reason to consider the larger sized machine.
